They split up and Darren Hayes had a briefly mildly successful solo career. I'm not sure if they'll get back together but never say never! Maybe one of them's flown to the moon but hasn't got back yet???

I really love the band. I love their two albums. The first album is a bit dark and also surreal. I think their second album is good too. Darren Hayes is such a wonderful singer. Daniel is an excellent band.

I always considered 'Truly Madly Deeply' as one of the greatest pop songs ever. It's definitely the best song they made. I bought a Savage Garden CD with different versions of that song when I was still a kid. :)

Why did savage garden split and will they reform thanx?
By the time Affirmation went on tour Daniel was tired of living in the limelight of fame (unlike Darren who loved it) so they decided to go their seperate ways. Darren trucked on in the spotlight doing his solo act and Daniel went behind the scenes writting and producing for other bands (Anieki)
As for getting back together - the notion so far has been completely dismissed but who knows maybe 10,20 years down the road it could happen.

My favourite song would be "Truly Madly Deeply" because it sounds so good and because it is about a love which grows more and more (with every breathe). I'm a romantic person so this song suits best. Too bad that love ended anyway (Darren wrote this song for his wife of who he got divorced).
