Has anyone ever heard of the band Savage Garden?

Has anyone ever heard of the band Savage Garden?
I heard of that band, they had some great slow dance tunes like I Knew I Loved You, and Truely Madly Deeply. Savage Garden was one of the best 90s pop rock bands.
Reply:Yep - not only that but it was kind of in "my era" (they're actually a 90s band). I remember this only because it brought all those memories of when I was so excited to actually be dancing with a real girl but could only think about if I cleaned my nose well enough and I hope I don't break her feet =)

Reply:They are Aussies like me and they aren't from the 80's , they are from the 90's my dear. I guess you haven't really heard of them have you? :)
Reply:Yes - even got a CD knocking around somewhere. They made good 'pop' music which some people won't think is very cool but it was well put together. Lyrically, one or two of their songs had more to them than many pop songs (e.g. 'Affirmation' and 'Crash %26amp; Burn').





Here's a 'spot the differences' game for when you get bored: Play Savage Garden's 'Crash %26amp; Burn' and then play U2's 'With or Without You'.

Reply:They were formed in 1997 but didn't have much success... They were re-lauched in 1998 with a new look %26amp; sound... First hit single was, "I Want You"...
