Why were the band Savage Garden so called?
It was taken from Anne Rice's novel about vampires - the V. chronicles. Pretty appropriate really. Vampires suck blood. Savage garden just plain suck.

Reply:I think they got it from "The Vampire Chronicles" by Anne Rice. In one of them (I forget which, although it might be "Memnoch") Lestat refers to the world as a savage garden. It's a very lovely metaphor.Shame it was taken-up by such a shite band.
