yes, Hayes announced that Savage Garden had broken up in October 2001 during an off the record chat with an Australian journalist as he had problems with the guitarist.
His latest track is 'So Beautiful' included in savage garden hits compilation.

Reply:Yes they disbanded a couple of years ago, and Darren Hayes has been following a solo career.
Reply:In October 2001, Savage Garden officially announced their breakup, and the duo went their separate ways. Darren Hayes is currently renovating a house in England, and is writing and recording his third solo album, to be released in early 2006.
Reply:Yeah like a long time ago...and Darren is taking it slow...the truth is no one listens so his label dropped him. Sucks to be him.
