Savage Garden popularity?

For those of you who live in Australia, how popular was Savage Garden back in the day, and to this day? Here in the U.S., they are forgotten for the most part and if someone does remember them, it is only a vague memory.

they were my favorite band.


but unfortunately the broke quite a few years ago now.


last i heard daniel jones was working with a small australian band called aneiki, im not sure what hes doing now.


darren hayes has released 3(i think) solos since the split, he is based in the uk(where he was also very very big), he is touring a lot there and did a tour in australi last year(which i went to.


in 2007(i think) he also married his long time male partner.

Reply:omg i love them! darren hayes was so hot in the day! i used to have a poster of them when i was 19, i'm 27 now. it got ruined though. :( i love tears of pearls. i still listen 2 it every day at work!
