Is this wedding song corny? (I'm serious)?

Is it stupid to use Savage Garden for your wedding song? Either I Knew I Loved You or Truly, Madly, Deeply? Do you know of a good song like that, or maybe one by Boyz II Men?

Is this wedding song corny? (I'm serious)?
I'll be your dream

I'll be your wish I'll be your fantasy

I'll be your hope I'll be your love

Be everything that you need

I'll love you more with every breath

Truly, madly, deeply do

I will be strong I will be faithful

'cause I'm counting on

A new beginning

A reason for living

A deeper meaning, yeah

[chorus:]

I want to stand with you on

a mountain

I want to bathe with you in the sea

I want to lay like this forever

Until the sky falls down on me

And when the stars are shining

brightly in the velvet sky,

I'll make a wish send it to heaven

Then make you want to cry

The tears of joy for all the

pleasure in the certainty

That we're surrounded by the

comfort and protection of

The highest powers

In lonely hours

The tears devour you

[chorus]

Oh can you see it baby?

You don't have to close your eyes

'Cause it's standing right

before you

All that you need will surely come

I'll be your dream I'll be your wish

I'll be your fantasy

I'll be your hope I'll be your love

Be everything that you need

I'll love you more with every breath

Truly, madly, deeply do

[chorus]

I want to stand with you on a

mountain

I want to bathe with you in the sea

I want to live like this forever

Until the sky falls down on me

NEED I SAY MORE?
Reply:I think your song choice is entirely up to you. If that is what you like, then go for it.

I really can't think of any Boys II Men songs that are very wedding appropriate. Though I absolutely LOVE them, most of their songs speak of getting back together, making love, breaking up, etc.
Reply:I think you should go with whatever your heart desires. There are no rules saying what type of music you can and can't have at your wedding. Remember, it is you and your fiance's wedding and its up to you two.
Reply:I dont think it's stupid, esp.not truly madly deeply,go for it!
Reply:Funny you said that. I actually put together a slide show of pictures I took at my brother's wedding last weekend and I used Savage Garden's "I knew I loved you" as the background music. Everyone complimented it and said it was a good choice.
Reply:I think it is always better to pick something classic. Maybe consider Sinatra or Nat King Cole (Unforgettable). That way you won't look back in a few years and regret your song. A timeless classic never goes out of style.
Reply:i loved both of those songs, but my favorite out of the two is "i knew i loved you" because it so sweet and if you listen to the words it's kid of like he is proposing to the girl he is singing about. I am walkind down the aisle to K-Ci and JoJo's, "This Very Moment" from the Deliver Us From Eva Soundtrack. Another good list of songs are:

Don't wanna miss a thing by Aerosmith

I'll be loving you by Kai

I believe in you and me by Whitney Houston

To the arms of the one who loves you by Xscape

End of the road by Boyz ll Men
Reply:It's not corny at all. It'd be corny if you were slow dancing to the hokey pokey! But you'll be dancing to a love song, and if that's really what you want to dance to then go for it!
Reply:It is a great song. I love the truly madley deeply.
Reply:no way is it corny, they are great songs
Reply:you have to pick something that is meaningful to you....if other peole think it's corny, they can piss off.
Reply:I like I knew I loved you before I met you... but it bears some meaning to my relationship. I like Savage Garden a lot. I don't think those songs are corny.
Reply:I Knew I Loved You was played during my reception. Either song would be great for a wedding! I also used I Swear by All 4 One.
Reply:"I swear" by John Michael Montgomery (or if you're not into country) by All4one is a good wedding song.
Reply:a good one is I Loved Her First for when the husband and wife have their first married dance. it is a country song by (i forgot) it is a good wedding song.
