My best friend's dad died...?

i need songs that can comfort her....

all i could think of right now is savage garden's crash and burn

know any song that has a nice message like it??

My best friend's dad died...?
You are the wind beneath my wing. I think that is the title. I know that savage garden song and that is deep and I don't know if that would lift her up. There is another song that is good and that is in the arms of an angel. It is soft and gentle and sweet. Those are a couple of good ones that popped in my head for your friend.
Reply:Lullabye by Billy Joel. It's technically a lullabye that he wrote for his daughter (about closing your eyes, going to sleep), but we used it after my Grandmother died, and everyone loved it.
Reply:Well first of all sorry about your friends dad (RIP), and a good song to comfort her could be TI "Live in the Sky". Again sorry :( Cheers!
Reply:Try "The Car" by Jeff Carson. It's a great song about spending time with your dad before he dies, and then looking back at the time you spent. Not sure if you or your friend are country music fans, but it's a good one.

"don't be afraid, oh my love,

i'll be watching you from above

%26amp; i'd give all the world tonight

to be with you

i'm on your side

%26amp; i still care

i may have died but i've gone nowhere

just think of me

%26amp; i'll be there"

here are the full lyrics.

i'm sorry for your friend's loss.

I'll Be There

The Escape Club

over Mountains

over Trees

over Oceans

over Seas

across the desert

I'll be there

in a whisper on the wind

on the smile of a new friend

just think of me

And I'll be there

Don't be afraid, oh my love

I'll be watching you from above

And I'd give all the world tonight,

to be with you

Because I'm on your side,

And I still care

I may have died,

but I've gone nowhere

Just think of me,

And I'll be there

On the edge of a waking dream

over Rivers

over Streams

through Wind and Rain

I'll be there

Across the wide and open sky

thousands of miles I'd fly

to be with you

I'll be there

Don't be afraid, oh my love

I'll be watching you from above

And I'd give all the world tonight,

to be with you

Because I'm on your side,

And I still care

I may have died,

but I've gone nowhere

Just think of me,

And I'll be there

In the breath of a wind that sighs

oh, there's no need to cry

Just think of me,

And I'll be there
