What track do you want playing at your............?

funeral. the reason that I ask this is because its normaly a song that represents you or is choosen for you by a loved one. my friend passed away on new years day this year and it was a very big sad loss. At the funeral, Savage garden was played......." I WANNA SIT WITH YOU ON A MOUNTAIN"

I can no longer listen to that song in the same way. What an impact that made to us all on that day. God bless you DEANO

I am big music lover and want my funeral to include lots of music!
Reply:I always say I want "Another One Bites The Dust" because literally, that's what's gonna happen when you die, isn't it? Maybe I should consider this question more seriously, but at the moment I couldn't be bothered.

Reply:I'll be letting my family/friends decide. I find it odd when people know what they're going to have played - especially when it's a really sad song. If it's a song that really shows who they are then that's OK, but my boyfriend wants a Tracey Chapman song. The lyrics are really mopey, and don't relate to him at all. It's like telling everyone that they need to be sad. It seems a bit strange to organise a sad song to have played at your funeral when it doesn't even relate to who you are. My uncle had Let it Be by the Beatles. That song is so beautiful, but every time I play it I think about that day.
Reply:'Going underground'........... The Jam
Reply:I'd Love to have "Freebird" .. played at it...

says it all for me,....
Reply:i wish you were here - pink floyd
Reply:Surrender by Billy Talent. I'm sorry for your loss xxx
Reply:Satisfied Mind - the Jeff Buckley version.

It's exactly what I want to say to people when I die.
