Which music will you have at your funeral?

I went to the funeral of a lovely, lovely friend and they played Everybody Hurts (R.E.M.), and Truely, Madly Deeply (Savage Garden), but I think the most moving funeral I went to was when they played Time to Say Goodbye. Wow! It 'floored' me!

Which music will you have at your funeral?

Reply:I dont want the people at my funeral to be too sad.

I'd rather people remember the good things about me rather than the fact that I was dead alone.

I'd have wake me up before you go go by wham. It'd make my family laugh, and reflects the kind of person I am.

(not a crazy wham fan, just someone who likes to make everyone happy)

I'd also play all the songs that have ever meant something to me. No matter what genre. Who says funerals have to be miserable? They should be a celebration of your life. Not a sad reminder of the fact that people will never see you again.
Reply:I'd have all my favourites, my funeral should be a party to celebrate my life (hopefully). Songs to be included, Tears for Fears-Head over Heels, Alicia Keys- Fallin', Shayne Ward- Stand by Me,KC and the Sunshine Band-Walking on Sunshine, ABC- The Look of Love, Avril Lavigne-When your gone, etc...I would probably make a compilation and leave it to be played after I've gone.
Reply:Over the rainbow sung by Israel kamakawiwo who has a lovely voice. or john Lennon's imagine. I feel the point of the song is to send a message to people what you believe in and hope for even if you are gone. Another good song is what a wonderful world sung by Louis Armstrong
Reply:i want worlds greatest by r. kelly but my mum says if i die before her i have to have "my one shining moment" by diana ross, i think its diana ross anyway. i would also like a song in bagpipes but i have no idea what song yet
Reply:ive got 2 choices, one: Terminators: " Ill be Back ", Second one: a song called she died, Saying "she died, She did, She died of a broken rib she did.". Rofl. Its a real song.
Reply:How weird that I read this and I was just thinking about this. I'm not sure who sings it but it's from the Breakfast Club and it says Don't you forget me. But whose to say that's what I'll have playing.
